AbanteCart has multi-store abilites which allow you to manage multiple stores from one admin interface.

There are many advantages in being able to set up multiple stores:

  • Theme each store differently to match the products that are being sold.
  • Set products to a appear on specific stores.
  • Localise each store by setting a different default language, currency and tax class.
  • Setup a default customer group for each store allowing you to have some stores setup for retail customers and others as wholesale.

Settings

You able to select Store to edit or create new one by clicking on button in the upper right corner.

Note: Some setting are common for all stores and can be managed in Default store only

The list off all available settings.

On this page you can refine and/or Sort by settings Store, Group or Key.

Also you able to edit any settings on this page.

Click on Edit button, the window will appear. Edit quickly and save.



Details Tab

Store Name: The name of your store.

Store URL: Include the full URL to your store. Make sure to add '/' at the end. Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/path/

Title: Meta Title displayed as the title in search engine results, and in the top bar of the browser.

Meta Tag Description: Meta Tag Descriptions are used by search engines to describe the content of your web site in the search engine results page.

Welcome Message: Enter a brief description of the product.

note: This uses the HTMLEditor so you can add HTML, images and FLASH content.

Store Owner: The store owner's name, or can also be the name of the store. This value will be in the "from" field of any email that is sent from the website when sent, such as one that is sent to the customer after purchasing.

Address: The address of your store. This will be displayed on the contact page and on invoices.

E-Mail: The store general email address used for receiving. This will be the destination for any emails sent through the website, such as through the feedback from or notification emails sent by the website as notification of new orders. This should be a SINGLE email address only.

Telephone: The contact telephone number of your store. This will be displayed on your Сontact page.

Fax: The contact fax number of your store. This will be displayed on your Сontact page.

Country: The default country your store is located in.

Region / State: The region or state your store is located in. This will be used to decide via geo zones if taxes should be added to your products.

Storefront Language: The default language your store uses. See also System->Localization->Languages.

Administration Language: The default language you see in your store administration. See also System -> Localization -> Languages.

Currency: The default currency your store uses. See also System->Localization->Currencies.

Auto Update Currency: If set to yes your store will automatically get currency rates and update the values daily (Yahoo server used).

Length Class: The default length class your store uses. See also System->Localization->Length Classes.

Weight Class: The default weight class your store uses. See also System->Localization ->Weight Classes.

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE


General Tab

Default Items per Page (Storefront): Sets how many storefront items are shown per page (products, categories, etc)

Default Items per Page (Admin): Sets how many admin items are shown per page in listing grids (orders, customers, etc)

Number of Items In Bestseller Block: Determines how many items are shown in bestsellers block (Store front)

Number of Items In Featured Block : Determines how many items are shown in Featured block (Store front)

Number of Items In Latest Block : Determines how many items are shown in Latest block (Store front)

Number of Items In Special Block : Determines how many items are shown in Special block (Store front)

Display Stock : Display stock quantity on the product page.

No Stock Auto Disable : Disable your product or option value for view if stock drops to 0. Message notification will be send.

Stock Status : Set the default stock status when an order is processed. See also System -> Localisation -> Stock Status.

Allow Reviews : Enable/Disable new review entry and display of existing reviews.

Allow Downloads : Set your store to allow downloads. If customers make orders with that have downloadable products this setting will stop them from being able to access their downloads.

Download Order Status : Set the order status the customers order must reach before they are allowed to access their downloadable products.

Help Links : If you want to see Help Icons and links to AbanteCart site. This will help you learn about features and how to use them. If you advanced user and do not want to see these help icons, you can disable.

Enable Tree Grid : Enables admin grids to show parent/children types in one grid listing. NOTE: Pagination and multi-actions are disabled for these grids.

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE


Checkout Tab

Display Prices With Tax : If you are required to display prices with tax. If set to no then taxes will only be included in the order totals on the checkout confirmation page.

Default Store Tax Rate : -

Use Customer Tax Address : customers Address to use in tax calculations

Invoice Start No. : Set the starting number the invoices will begin from.

Invoice Prefix : Set the invoice prefix e.g. IN/001. Invoice ID's will start at 1 for each unique prefix.

Customer Group: Default customer group. Can change if, for example, you only sell to wholesale, employees, or other group you have created.

Login Display Price s: Only show prices when a customer is logged in.

Approve New Customers : Don't allow new customer to login until their account has been approved.

Require login name: To improve security, ask customers to create the logon name only. If set to ON, existing customers will be asked to create new user name in the first logon. If OFF, user name is the same as the email address.

Guest Checkout : Allow customers to checkout without creating an account. This will not be available when a downloadable product is in the shopping cart.

Account Terms : Forces people to agree to terms before an account can be created.

Checkout Terms : Forces people to agree to terms before an a customer can checkout.

Stock Checkout : Allow customers to still checkout if the products they are ordering are not in stock. Read more about Stock processing configurations.

Order Status : Set the default order status when an order is processed. See also System -> Localisation -> Order Status.

Display Weight on Cart Page : Show the cart weight on the cart page

Use Shipping Session : Saves shipping quotes to session to avoid re-quoting unnecessarily. Quotes will only be re-quoted if cart or address is changed.

Same Page Add To Cart : This will enable AJAX add to cart feature. Product can be added to cart without redirecting to cart page.

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE


Appearance Tab

Template : If you have uploaded additional templates, select a template for your store.

Control Panel Template : If you have uploaded additional templates, select a template for your Control Panel.

Storefront Site Width : Set the width of storefront. Example: 100% or 1000px.

Admin Site Width : Set the width of Admin. Example: 100% or 1000px.

Store Logo: The logo you want to display in the header of your store. In order to set a logo simply Click on image to change it and a popup will appear allowing you to upload a picture you like from your local computer or set a pre-existing one which is already uploaded in the images directory of AbanteCart.

Icon: A Favicon icon to display in the browser window next to the store address. Should be a PNG that is 16px x 16px.

Product images are automatically resized by AbanteCart, so you only need to upload one product image and it will resize to the sizes you specify below:

*Product Image Thumb Size: Default is 180x180.

*Large Window Preview Size: Default is 500x500.

*Category List Size: Default is 120x120.

*Product List Size: Default is 120x120.

*Additional Product Image Size: Default is 45x45.

*Related Product Image Size: Default is 120x120.

*Cart Image Size: Default is 75x75.

*Grid Image Size: Default is 57x57.

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE


Mail Tab

Mail Protocol: Only choose 'Mail' unless your host has disabled the php mail function.

Mail Parameters: When using 'Mail', additional mail parameters can be added here (e.g. " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ".)

SMTP Host: If your host requires you to use SMTP mail, get this from your web host.

SMTP Username: If your host requires you to use SMTP mail, get this from your web host.

SMTP Password: If your host requires you to use SMTP mail, get this from your web host.

SMTP Port: If your host requires you to use SMTP mail, get this from your web host. Default value 25.

SMTP Timeout: If your host requires you to use SMTP mail, get this from your web host. Default value 5.

Alert Mail: Send a email to the store owner when a new order is created.

Additional Alert E-Mails: Any additional emails you want to receive the alert email, in addition to the main store email. (comma separated)

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE


API Tab

Storefront API status : Enable or Disable store API.

Storefront API Key : Set this key to provide restricted (more secure) access to storefront API. Leave blank no key.

Storefront API Stock Access : Enable if you allow storefront API to check stock availability.

Admin API status : Enable or Disable Admin API.

Admin API Key : Set this key to provide restricted (more secure) access to Admin API.

Admin API Access IPs : Provide list of IPs (comma separated) that will be allowed to access admin API. Other IPs will be blocked.

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE


System Tab

Use SSL: To use SSL check with your host if a SSL certificate is installed and added the SSL URL to the admin config file.

Control Panel Session Expiration: This value controls time interval before you will be asked to login again due to no activity.

Maintenance Mode: Prevents customers from browsing your store. They will instead see a maintenance message. If logged in as admin, you will see the store as normal.

Encryption Key: Please provide a secret key that will be used to encrypt private information when processing orders.

Use SEO URL's: To use SEO URL's apache module mod-rewrite must be installed and you need to rename the htaccess.txt to .htaccess. mod_rewrite is something that is installed on your server by your web host. You need to ask your host (or look in their help guide) to find out if you have it.

Output Compression Level: GZIP for more efficient transfer to requesting clients. Compression level must be between 0 - 9.

Cache enabled: Please be careful when disable caching. Cached pages will not be re-created until at least this much time has elapsed.

Resource Library Upload Max File Size, kB: File size Limit for uploaded files.

Display Errors: Set to yes if you want to see the exceptions and errors.

Log Errors: Set to yes if you want to save the exceptions and errors to the log.

Show Debug Info: Set this SHOW if you want to see the execution details and show debug details. Set this LOG if you want to write the execution details and debug details to the log file.

Debug Level: Select the depth of the details you need to see in the debug output.

Template debug: Enable this setting if you need to check issues with template in storefront and control panel.

Note: after set setting to ON the links will appear. Use it to access debug.

*Error Log Filename: Default is error.txt.

After you have made your changes, select the SAVE
